The items I've bought since the last refresh are restocked, but other than that the selection of items remains exactly the same. Maybe 2 meals before the reset. The trader does make the game easier but I don't think broken easier. By day 7 no trader I can still find an early gun, have concrete up and ready, be close to having transportation, and usually tons of ammo. Alpha 19 loves giving me ammo.
