Xfi was completely blocking my Mac from connecting to my wifi. I had to shut off "Advanced" Security to remedy. Basically Xfinitiy decided that my companies security software was a risk. I live near St. Paul, Minnesota, and my modem/router reports the default gateway IP address as 24.118.132.1. A couple other websites I have had frequent problems with include "duckduckgo.com" and "arcamax.com", but I don't believe the websites are at fault.
