#1 · Mar 25, 2019. I have an 06 ltz with a 3.9 and on occasion when I’m at a stop light or stop sign I can hear something knocking coming from the back. It almost sounds like somebody is back there tapping the car with a wrench. The noise is not easy to replicate and does it randomly.
