Wife liked over stock. Progressive springs up front are doing the job nicely. Share.Just my opinion, if you are happy with the Legend in the rear then do the same in the front. It's not like you will hurt anything by mixing brands but why not have a set tuned to work together. Legend will tell you where you need to have them setup for by weight and riding style instead of making adjustments to figure it out on a mix matched set.
Depends what your after. The shorter shocks give the bike a nice stance and I'm sure some will give a better ride than even oem 13". But you sacrifice travel length and some lean angle. Ohlins - Excellent Pro-Action - Very Good Legends - No wow factor over the others as I was expecting. All three are very close but the clear winner is the Ohlins with the remote reservoir. Still some tweaking to be done on the Legends in fairness to them. But the other two brands were set up or easier to set up which gives them the advantage.

IIRC, the Ohlins is a standard body and the spring is selected for your weight when you order the shock. Individual shops may elect to adjust the valving on the Ohlins but that is not a factory option. What I gained is a shock specifically set up for my weight and riding style. A shock that keeps the rear wheel planted on the road while at the same time keeps my back from being jolted by an imperfection in the road. The Ohlins website configuration tool will recommend a rate based on your weight and other factors so you could run the numbers and compare.
