They're all really strong, and every class is equally viable. Raw DPS at level 69 however, Brick with the right build is the best, followed by Lillith. HOWEVER: DON'T play BL1 like BL2. BL1 is way more fun "Gun wise." All the manufacturers are great, (barring Eridian) all elements are viable, there aren't as many stupid gimmicks.
