Mar 24, 2024 · Okay I bought a 2012 Dodge avenger 2.7 L the ignition had been tampered with so the key fit loosely and the mounting brackets were broken.So I decided I was gonna replace the ignition taking it out I broke the halo on the sentry immobilizer receiver so I bought a used receiver off of eBay but to no avail I was told I could not flash a used receiver. I have a 1997 dodge avenger es 2.5 liter here's. Check the vacuum line on the fuel pressure regulator for any sign of gas being sucked into the line. A failed regulator will let extra gas get into the engine. If it's okay, have the fuel pressure checked. That's sure a lot of gas, way too much for the engine.It can also cause random no starts.
