Got it home and changed all of the fluids and filters and a few degraded fuel lines. Bled the injectors and after a few puffs of smoke it was up and running again.Up here in the frozen outerlands of the northern hemisphere diesels need a little warmth to get them going on a cold morning. Operator's manual on 6600 shows all 6600s have a four position ignition switch. From the straight up position of the key, which is Off, the two positions to the right (clockwise) are On and Start. The two CCW positions are Heat and Heat-Start.

A month or so later I tried to shift into 4th, and I got a gear grind. That was progress. I worked with it a while and got it to go into 4th. Today, I use it frequently with no problems.
