Every so often, I like to detail strip my guns to go over everything to check for wear. During the spring, I bought one of the coated titanium safety plungers for my glock 23. It definitely made the trigger pull more smooth. Today as I field stripped the slide, I noticed that the plunger is beginning to get chewed up. Here's a pic:

I believe Holosun uses a modified RMSc footprint, which deletes and lowers some of the locating posts. To direct mount I believe you would have to mill off two of the locating posts and lower the other two.
Glocks are built to take a beating, shoot hundreds, if not thousands of rounds, get caked in mud and sand and without a good cleaning and still function. The safety plunger spring's sole job it to return the plunger to it's position after firing. If you polish it and keep it clean there should be no issues.
