timewise it has no use whatsoever. The time it takes to get bars, smith them into darts, make the darts, kill zulrah for scales is heavily outweighed by the dps of bowfa. Unless you are a normal account and can buy dragon darts on the ge, the bp is completely outclassed and useless after cg.
The extra accuracy and max hit increase speed up your kills by abouot 10%. That means you get about 200k an hour more in drops. You spend much less than 200k an hour on the scales, so it is better to use the swamp trident. Trident of the swamp is a large improvement over sea for Zulrah. Like the guys said above, you do need close to 200m to get the whole crystal armour along side with the bow otherwise it's not worth it. I use bowfa for all GWD including nex, mole, zulrah, some slayer tasks (like demonics), muspah and now I have bandos, prims, os fang and now building towards my mage setup.To break this down, you'll earn between 100-300 Zulrah scales per kill, which sell for 250 each. (That's 25,000-75,000 guaranteed.) You'll also have a small chance to get rare drops that sell for around 3-5 million each. If you use serp helm it gives negative range and mage bonuses, which slows down your kills. Anti-venom is also cheaper than the cost of scales in a serp helm. I do 4 kills/trip so I prefer to bring 1 anti venom pot (4) and use my slayer helm (i) instead of a serp helm. Slayer helm is +3 range +3 mage attack, while serp is -5, so in the end ...

IMO Bowfa is pretty much better most places outside of low defence monsters like bloodvelds and such the tradeoff being the time spent to gather scales. Bow is crazy good in CoX where blowpipe is pretty much good at tightrope and baby muttadile. I do Bowfa only Zulrah, and Usually something like this is my setup. I usually get around 2-4 kills per trip depending on luck. My full strategy is I zulrah tele, do 2-4 kills (usually dependent on luck as the mage phase can cost alot of food), tele home to reheal, edgeville bank restock and go back again with zulrah tele rinse and repeat.All this is to say, the most important thing about learning Zulrah is to not get discouraged. This is a difficult and punishing boss to learn, especially if you're doing it without access to a trident or other important pieces of gear. The bowfa only method took my PB from like 3:30 down to 1:30 within like 2 kills. One thing to watch if your using the zulrah helper is if you don't kill him during his first full rotation then the rotation restarts but sometimes random phases are thrown at you during the second rotation.TBow only Zulrah is fun. Nice and AFK. The new boss is chill camping TBow as well so that's a new nice addition. In the past I extended Black Dragon tasks too so I could camp Brutal Blacks now and again as they're nice money with a TBow. Love muspah have done 250kc now and for irons the loot is great it has funded my construction grind the rannar seeds it drops is insane, can go mage and range I personally go bowfa only some kills if you got bad rng can be a bit long due to the melee phase but in average reasonably quick on range only, personally out of vork zulrah and muspah ...
Answered it yourself, shadow is far better than tbow there, you can even shadow zebak comftorably. I did a shadow rebuild and it's served me well but i also do exclusively toa. 1. Reply.
