I have no personal experience with this relay, I know it exists but don't recall ever using one. So you would need to get the relay, p/n 19119267, connector 12126045 or ACDelco number PT676.

May 18, 2020 · 2019. There is no trunk release button in a 2019 Chevy Malibu that is inside the cabin of the vehicle. There are two other ways to open the trunk though. The first way to open the trunk is simply to press the trunk release button that is on Your key fob. If You have this with You while You are sitting in the car this is the best way to open it. The trunk button still does not work. I looked through the owner's manual and found on page 5-105 a schematic for the Rear Compartment Fuse Block. This appears to have the relay for the Trunk Release (item 22 for those playing along at home). The problem is, the manual states this block is located INSIDE the trunk.The rear seats DO fold in all Gen9 Malibu Hybrids, so there is still a pass-through above the battery that's several inches in height, but it's obviously nowhere near as open as that in the conventional Malibu. The Hybrid's trunk volume is therefore reduced a bit from that of the Malibu, to somewhere around 12 cubic feet.It was hanging there. No big deal, kind of tucked it back.
