164 posts · Joined 2003. #19 · Apr 18, 2012. I would kill to have the sights on my dad's Single Six hunter on my Mark II or Mark III, but they don't attach the same way. They have tremendous sights with a v-sight in back and a gold bead front sight. So much better than the ones on my autos.

I believe the Ruger Mark III manual say's for the Hunter model that the sight picture is to be dead center with the front sight setting in the bottom of the V. Of course like North Country Girl said, after that you adjust them to you're liking. N.
