T.Of all the careers I searched, Podiatry is the only profession in the military that receives no bonus pay/incentives etc. Every other profession listed in SDN is paid more. I was told Podiatry is also very hard to advance rank in.Its only 4 years after college, complete autonomy, ability to be your own boss, and they make around 150-200K typically. MD/DOs have a much higher ceiling average-wise than Pods, Dentists, Optometrists, PharmD, but they are also working 50-60 hour workweeks for the 200-250K.

With interests in pursuing Podiatry this year I have looked for more information about the future of this career path within the SDN forums.
