The seamoth is your small starter ship. Its max depth until upgraded is 200m , Mk1 hull mod takes it to 300m , mk2 mod goes to 500m and mk3 goes to 900m. The cyclops is the biggest sub ... its too has a max depth which is 500m .. cant remember what the mk1 hull mod adds , but mk2 takes it to 1200m and mk3 is 1500m.
My issue is the crush depth. I have my seamoth, a rebreather, and oxygen tanks. The issue is solely swimming around below 200 m. Then grab the free depth upgrade (location's in my post, above) and try to find the Modification Station to upgrade the depth upgrade. Although it was originally planned for the Seamoth to be able to go that deep, as the Sea Dragon had an animation for attacking the Seamoth, but this is no longer in the game. I've just managed to fully upgrade my Seamoth to maximum depth and about to go exploring as deep as possible. But I haven't yet got around to building a cyclops or prawn. Really in the mood to progress the story and not excited about hunting for all the parts for the other 2 vehicles. Also I've seen how clunky travelling in the cyclops looks.
