I have zero determination runes on my tricaru team. I threw a bunch of left over runes with high def%, some speed and some accuracy. Crafted 2 or 3 guard def% runes and that was it. I wouldn't say the rune requirements are low but most C2 and above players would not find them difficult. I think farming determination runes are a waste of time.Used in monster sub also. I still use water twins, I never did the Tricaru, and my twins do about the same times as some of my friends' Tricaru teams. I use in db12, nb12, solo r5 (35-45sec averages per run), and almost all the rift raids (8-10m scores), fire/water monster subjugation bosses for stage 7 clears.

In many Tricaru posts they already mentioned fire gargoyle for fight/determination runes to help with the stats but the speed tuning is much more harsher (and you need the gargoyle to be constantly at at certain hp%) All in all it is probably not easier and has been discussed before with stats. So thats maybe why people are downvoting.It's litterally the only 100% team for dragon and it only need "shit" rune who is not usable elsewhere. However, that can be enough - especially in slot 1, slot one runes can be trash for tricaru - although ideally you want speed/acc, and then later on ATK/CR/etc. And blue 6 star determination DEF% runes are almost always usable in this context if you get them (and I got 1-2 generally).

Too bad Tatu's AI is trash. Highly inconsistent on auto. The point of having tricaru is being able to save good rune sets like vio swift and such away from your farming team. No team can replace Tricaru in terms of being able to save Good rune sets.Tricaru runes are classically "bad runes", so just go farm elemental rifts to craft determination runes. If you get a 6* 2/4/6 Def% Determination rune for all 3 Icarus you're already nearly done making the team literally regardless of sub stats. It'll take 1-2 weeks of actively farming fire/light raid but so what?It's good but the ceiling for tricaru runes are so spicy I'm not sure. For reference you can have ATK or CD as a main stat alongside 9x fight runes. First icaru needs +84spd. Second on +49 spd. Third 1spd above verde. Your second/third icaru needs more acc then the first cuz the first team up uses the other two as def breaker. 65acc is the goal 30acc is the bare minimum to not land a defbreak in 32turns. The keys lies in taking more turns then the boss.
