Maybe hourly, but UPS goes to $376 in SEP and they get 13 periods of 75 hours not 12. So the rate maybe higher, but the pay isn’t.

I'll also preface this post by saying that I am extremely grateful for the oppurtunity that I have with both companies and I'm simply trying to make the best Register. For example: a UAL pilot that is furloughed could be 10 years senior to a CAL pilot that is not furloughed. The CAL pilot would not lose his job or be furloughed. He is protected. You'll have to dig into the ALPA merger stuff.

There is also a "corrected" number that is the 2004 UAL/DAL numbers corrected. for the 19.3% inflation from mid-2004 to mid-2011. The SW rate is adjusted for the way they are paid per trip. Actual dollars per hour are 20-40% higher than the book hourly rate. Jan 5, 2012 · UAL domestic and international reserves both get 12 days off per month. International reserve have 4 holy days that can't be moved. Domestic reserve days are inviolate. There are many other work rules, you really need to read the contract. You will not find a UAL pilot sleeping in a plane when the company can't find a hotel.
