Service records showed all service was done at a Honda dealership on the recommended schedule. Since we bought it in early 2021, we put about 4,000 miles on it with no issues other than replacing the battery.

I bought the complete Honda system (DVD player, screen, wiring harness, headphones, remote, etc) for under $500 on e-bay. Buying just a replacement DVD player from Honda is a total rip off at around $700.
The charging system dash light came on today. My battery went dead on my way home from works with the same symptoms as when the alt bit the dust. Had both battery and alternator checked, both are good. Tried newer battery, indicator light still oan. Checked fuses, checked connections to starter, battery, alternator all are tight.

Mix baking soda & water to make a solvent to wash off the terminals. wire brush the terminals until they are shiny.It will almost always give me the message "Idle stop temporarily interrupted system warming up or charging" regardless of how long the battery has had to charge.
