Honda tsb 16 002.
The original TSB 16-002 said to use 31200-5G0-A02 and the original part was 31200-5G0-A01. I'm wondering if all of these different versions have additions to help fix the spinning starter issue. Essentially I want to know if the -A04 part actually fixes the problem...most people report the same exact issues with the A02 that they had with the A01.
May 10, 2016 · Hello. I have a 2013 Honda Accord with push button start. I sent the email to car talk originally. The Honda Technical Service Bulletin is 16-002. Honda has known about this for many months now. I never actually was able to locate the actual TSB online but found several places where it was discussed. (Just google this TSB.) When calling around I would specifically ask for a starter for a 2011 Acura TL 3.5 V6. I cross referenced that with the Honda part number which is 31200R70A51. That being said, there are many cross compatible ones like the 2015 Acura MDX 3.5/Pilot/Ridgeline etc. Basically, Honda uses different numbers for the same model.Honda TSB 14-002. The MIL is on with DTC P0420 or DTC P0430 (catalyst system efficiency below threshold) with a possible DTC P2243 or DTC P2247 (A/F sensor 1 circuit high voltage). One or both primary A/F Sensor (Air Fuel Ratio) caps may have fallen off and bored a hole through the affected WU-TWC (Warm Up Three Way Catalyst).February 13, 2014. 14-002. I also had the same exact problem with my 2013 accord coupe ex-l last fall and had my local shop do the tsb A16-002 so they changed the starter and rotated the torque converter one bolt hole.
