i called customer support about it explained ive been with metro for 7+ years and its never shut off even when i was on the 45$ plan. to which i was told by the supervisor "metropcs has never offered a 45$ plan only 30$ 50$ and 60$. also hotspot has always shut off after your cap has been reached".
