My friend though, he hadn't seen it and had only heard me talk about it. He gave it a shot when it started airing and he despised it. He called it the dumbest show in history. He criticized the fact that the navy carried water guns and said that was stupid. He said the show was clearly made for babies. After hearing a lot of positive things surrounding the Pokemon anime these days, I decided to hop back in and watch the whole thing from Episode 1 to refresh my opinions on the franchise and to have a better track of how the series evolved with time (did a similar thing last year with the films, but now its time to fry the 1000+ fish that lingers over me). After producing 104 English-dubbed episodes (cut down from 143 Japanese ones) 4Kids dropped the One Piece license in December 6, 2006.
