Ninjatrader and Tradovate are two complete different systems. Let me explain NInjatrader is a locally runned program. Meaning it runs on your computer, where as tradovate is a web based application so it runs on the web. The one thing that ninjatrader has over tradovate is that it allows you to pretty much connect to any broker of your choice.

It’s the tradovate merge or whatevr you want to call it issue, this was to be expected imho ( I’ve had both forever) Also I beta tested the NT / and Tradovate setup. Just growing pains but obviously sucks if you got twisted up somehow. Every broker will have a similar issue at some point. Anyone who disagrees isn’t on daily or is lying.

Tradovate costs a little more, but is probably the easier option. Rithmic is cheaper, and has better risk management features.
