Same thing happened to me. I sent my medicals along with my I-485 october 2020 last year but received my RFE last august 10. Lawyer just told me to redo it and i obliged. I didn't want to raise any concern to USCIS and make the processing more stressful. I had to pay the full amount again good thing the vaccines i had were still valid.
