Nissan xterra vdc off slip reset.

VDC off and SLIP came on, also my brakes lock the tires so i could even move the car...i checked the brake fluid and brake pads are good. take a look at 2 relays or "sensors" right on top of the brake pedal, there is a brown one and a black and white. take those two out clean them. **the white and black has a small spring inside clean that too ...try and disconnect the pos battery cable for a bout 10 minutes and see if this resets it make sure you have radio code in case ur radio locks. Ok, your biggest issue at the moment is the P0345, this is for the cam position sensor on bank #2. This will indeed cause the stalling issue you are seeing. The P0420 code means there is an issuie with the catalytic converter on bank 1. This can cause stalling, but in most cases won't.Replaced my cam shaft position sensor on both banks today. Tried disconnecting the battery, the whole drive straight thing, brake pads, rotors, fluid has all been done recently. Starter, battery, alternator all tested good, starts and runs just fine as if the lights weren’t on. Aug 7, 2013 · For what it's worth: A traction control system / vehicle dynamic control system malfunction will cause both the "VDC OFF" and the "SLIP" indicator lamps to light up. If wheel slip actually occurred, the light should extinguish on its own. The VDC OFF light should illuminate if you turn it off, or place it in 4LO.

My wife said it didn't want to start but finally did (it's like 15 degrees F here today) and she said the "check engine soon," "SLIP," and "VDC Off" lights were all on and it wouldn't move. I tried all gears and 4WD but it would only creep back in to the driveway with the accelerator buried. Most alignment shops won't do this. If the steering angle sensor is way off, the VDC light will stay on and the system will not work at all. If it is only slightly off, it can confuse the computer. Vehicle: 2011 Nissan Xterra Pro-4x (35k total miles) with lift and 295 tires. Have had lift and tires now about 30k no issues. When I start the Xterra I have the "Diff lock" and "VDC off" lights. As soon as I turn my wheel (about 45-90 degrees) the "diff lock" light turns off. If I hit the rear diff switch the REAR DIFF light goes out and then ABS and SLIP come on. I can hear the 4wd engage both high and low when I turn it on with my door open.
