Dec 23, 2018 · It may do to the Glock 42 what the P365 9mm did to the Glock 43 i.e. take a big bite outta Glocks market share. And it would probably go up against the S&W 380EZ quite well, especially if the XL version comes out. And it may also take a bite out of Ruger's LCP line of pistols. I'd kinda be curious about it for my wife.

The trigger is shorter on LCP but if your shoot revolvers Bodyguard 380 is fine and you get double strike capability. What sold me on the Glock 42 was shootability. It seems the only significant difference between the G42 and the P365 is as you pointed out, the weight difference 11x9mm is a lot more weight than 7x380 (and a lot more fire power) and the width at the butt of the grip (which does matter to me as it pertains to concealability).Slide Lock Glock 42 vs LCP.
