personally I like to color reference fan art. I usually use a hex code color finder to get most of my colors down and then go back in and tweak them to my liking. For palettes, you can just google stuff that fit your aesthetic like "Star color palette" or you can use Coolors or Photo Chrome! For tints, you can use CSS Gradient !
