There's something that multiplies fabled +20%, pretty sure its stars and catacombs level, but it could just be berserk's 80% extra damage, or both. Bers meta is just archer setup without double shot because melee sucks. You can still keep it for minibosses as they are easier to clear with a sword. Smite is better for dungeons.
