The Georgia High School Association's executive committee approved the ruling body's reclassification plan for the two-year cycle beginning in 2024-25 at its meeting Monday morning in Thomasville.The Georgia High School Association met in early October, where they began working on a reclassification of its 450-plus schools for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 school years. The reclassification this year was especially eventful, as the GHSA instituted a new multiplier for out-of-zone students.The GHSA's Reclassification Committee met on September 27 at the Thomaston-Upson County Civic Center to continue the process of reclassifying schools for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 school years.
