Is staccato worth it.

The Staccato Cs has been my first 2011 style pistol. I would say it depends on what you're used to concealing. The Wilson is thinner and over an inch shorter in height, it will conceal better. The Cs isn't that small and I'm likely selling mine. It has a subcompact barrel with a height taller than a Glock 17 which makes zero sense for me.

It is known for its advanced features, exceptional accuracy, and reliability. In this blog, we will explore the pros and cons of the Staccato XC. Than that Primary and Secondary podcast a month ago about the STI Staccato is what made me really think about the Staccato a lot. It is also on my grail list.

Yeah, wildly different animals. And like $1000 difference in price. The STI is very much a different league than any 320, as far as fit and finish go. Both are excellent guns, but very different. I'd ask myself two questions: do I want to spend way more money on the STI and am I good to go with using the manual safety. And the mr920 is no where near as good to shoot. Edit: i will say this, while the price of admission is high. They are worth 2k. I know there are more premium 2011's, ive not used them. However, i cannot imagine them being another 1-3k better than a staccato. I know they ARE better...but idk if they are worth the extra money.

Aug 10, 2021 · The Staccato P DPO is slightly larger than an M&P but smaller than other 1911 pistols. It has a Dawson toolless guide rod with 13lb recoil springs. Coming out of the box it has three stainless steel double stack magazines. It has been designed to keep the magazines from being inserted too far and causing issues that way. Are Staccato Pistols Really Worth the Money? Watch on. I thought this was a cool video showing the factory and a great discussion with Tony about their handguns.STI/Staccato had it sent out to be refinished. The finish on it is very slick and glossy. Come to think of it, I haven't shot it much since the refinish. The finish on my 2020 Staccato C2 feels different, I wouldn't say it's necessarily rough, but it's definitely not glossy smooth like the 2019. It is holding up VERY well to wear, with the only ...Staccato 2011 P Review. The Staccato 2011 P, chambered in 9mm, is a gun that has been adopted by hundreds of law enforcement agencies, including some high-profile ones in Texas, Florida and California. Being a duty gun, it boasts reliability that other pistols can only strive to achieve. Both a 2011 and a top-end gun, this Staccato pistol can ...

Staccato P Pros and Cons. Smooth shooter - Everything about this pistol feels high quality. Excellent trigger - crisp break and short reset. Optics ready- If I was keeping this, it would get an RDS. Accurate - Excellent control; shoots very well. Dead Sexy - Everything about this gun is sexy.

The weight is a big part of my decisions. My m18 shoots way better than the P365X does and fits my hands much better. The M18 weighs 2.2 lbs loaded and optic compared to 1.4 lbs for the P365X loaded and optic. The C will probably weigh the same as my M18 which defeats the purpose of a new EDC.

Gonna be purchasing a Staccato P next month, but trying to decide if the DLC barrel is worth the extra $100 compared to the stock barrel. Let me know what you guys think! Already spending a lot of money on the gun. Might as well put the cherry on top. If you think it looks cool I’d say go for it, it doesn’t offer any appreciable benefit.Join this channel to get access to perks:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCo-poh60OwCq0WMDGl41NYw/joinThanks So much for watching and don't forget to subscri...Jun 27, 2022 · Staccato pistols are reliable, accurate, and high-performance wide-body 1911s that use double-stack magazines. They are not cheap, but they are worth it for shooters who appreciate the finer things of life. Not sure what the street price will be on these but list price is $645. More than a P2. Not sure if it’s worth it to you but I would stick with a used OG that people are dumping for cheap. Looking at the gap between the RMR and ejection port on the Staccato CS, I think these would block the ejection port. Bummer.Glock Commander. 8643 posts · Joined 2015. #8 · Sep 22, 2016. When Dave left STI to start Dawson Precision®, he became a distributor and soon STI's #1 distributor and remains that today for the 2020 rebranded Staccato 2011®.Staccato Firearms also has an edge in terms of ergonomics. Staccato pistols are designed to fit comfortably in the hand, with an ergonomic grip angle that promotes a natural point of aim. The Staccato C2, for example, features a low bore axis and a slim profile that makes it easy to shoot accurately and comfortably.

FuriousFox33. One of the better rolls for this scout. Not 100% sure it's better than EP on it, but when the scorch stacks get going it's pretty good. The base stats are really bad compared to a Hung Jury, but it still feels decent. The blue 200rpm Madrugada SR2 might still be the best solar scout though ;)Both the chunk port/genghis comp and the ports are fun to shoot. Just depends on what you're looking for. The monsoon port will feel softer to the shooter where the stacc-ports are more a progressive feel which tracks faster when compare to my Omni (which feels similar to the chunk port).I own Chris Costa's Nighthawk 2011 and for the time, it was amazing as it is super accurate, reliable etc, but basically required a master gunsmith to hand build it. Staccatos are semi-custom, semi-mass produced excellence, probably taking advantages of advancements in computer aided design and fabrication.Staccato worth it? My Staccato P was the same price and worth every dime, if this ends up running I am ditching my P365x for one. I still have not confirmed it but I believe the CS uses its own magazines, they finally shortened the tube for 9mm only now instead of 9mm/ 38 Super like the P, C2 and XC guns use.The question here isn't whether the Staccato C2 is a good pistol or whether Staccato makes a fine firearm, it's whether the price is worth it to you. For me, this isn't even a question. Staccato makes an accurate, dependable, and high-quality pistol that's well worth the price tag, but we each need to make our own decision.

To add some thing, you specifically ask about the Wilson and the staccato. I carry a nighthawk counselor which is by far better than either of these pistols, but only holds 9+1. It also retails for $4300 if you can find one. The big issue is round count. If 10 rounds feels like enough consider the staccato C. The Wilson is 15+1 and the CS is 16+1.Staccato’s latest generation of stippling is a much finer grit-like texture, much easier to carry against the body. The most diminutive of those was the single-stack Staccato C, with a 3.9-inch barrel, which was released in tandem with the C2, a double-stack model of the same length that could accept the entire range of full-size 2011 …Also worth mentioning - the XC has a 9 lb recoil spring in it. I believe the stock spring was 8 lbs. Although I haven't had a single malfunction with it, I did notice the slide hesitating when feeding flat-nosed and HP ammo. The 9lb spring took care of that, but I may film the XC again using the stock spring to see how it affects muzzle dip.The Staccato-C is just as good as the rest. I’m very happy with my C. I’m a fan of well done grips, the stock grip in my opinion was sub par especially since I have well over 12 guns with STI’s Costa or DVC grips. They are done for STI by Extreme Shooters. It really is a night and day difference. The Staccato is the better shooting gun and its not close (As far as grip, trigger, recoil impulse, etc). If you've not shot a 2011, I suggest you try to find one for rent or a friend at the range, something. I'd say buy the Staccato. The good news is, if you get a Staccato and decide I was full of shit, they retain value well. The CK gun is certainly more custom than the Stacatto and it's likely to have a metal grip, if that means anything to you. I think the XL is going for around $3400 retail. Not sure what CKARMS is getting for a Limited gun now. The Stacatto guns are made to run on factory ammo, which is a good thing, if you can get factory ammo.169 posts · Joined 2019. #2 · Jan 24, 2020. I recently got the chance to shoot the staccato P and really loved it. I then bought the edc x9 for a crazy price and it was worth every penny and more. I think it really comes down to size. If you are using it for edc I would choice the wilson as it is smaller.Jul 28, 2022 ... Edit: the mag release is not reversible. Same video but with a link to buy https://bit.ly/3JnkzD4.

Atlas is second only to SVI. Yes, they are now a bit ugly but their quality is superior to most other brands and turn around is faster. STI and Staccato are more production level, good but not Atlas or SVI good. A couple other options are: Phoenix Trinity, Cheely, Akai, Carne Customs, Rafferty, McLearn.

A Staccato firearm is a promise of American ingenuity. Precision engineered reliability. Accuracy and confidence. Because the better we shoot, the closer we are to the target, the more locked in we are for family and freedom.

Also it's not the best for carry either, but it's an amazing gun and shoots amazing. For a range toy or limited matches, XC all day. XL had a nice trigger and all the Staccato bells and whistles, it's basically a big ass P. Usable in more completion, probably too big to carry but you could. Any ways you should decide on your own.Staccato C2 Duo. I "pulled the trigger" yesterday and bought a Staccato C2 Duo which should arrive early next week. I don’t think it’s twice the performance but it’s certainly worth the price at 4K for what you get IMO. The C2 and P I felt recoiled a bit harder than my SP01 and just wasn't worth it to me.I don't see why staccato can't just expand their custom pistol builder. Example, you'd build your pistol from the ground up. 1. Start with grip. P grip, C2 grip, or "X" grip etc. 2. Chose if you want a magwell. 3.Then go to frame. Aluminum, Steel, and have lengths for dust covers. Obviously only certain lengths will work with certain slides etc. 4. iowa state women's basketball recruiting 2023 Recently picked up a Staccato P Duo locally. Worth it because STI controls the price so it's the same no matter where you go. Comes with two extendo twenties and a flush fit seventeen round mag. IT ALSO INCLUDES ALL THE MOUNTING PLATES FOR EVERY SIGHT COMPATIBLE WITH THE DUO SYSTEM.Staccato doesn't shoot as flat because it has a higher bore axis, it's heavier, less reliable, if you have normal sized hands you can't actuate the slide lock lever with your firing hand and has a safety which changes the manual of arms and makes it more complicated.
