Dec 31, 2018 · We visited Leland Snowplay as a family with a young child. The place was swamped since it was a holiday weekend. The ticket lines were not too long though, but mind you the lines are same for tickets, food or purchasing gloves/shoes. We liked the slopes for tubing. They were well maintained and the big slopes were a lot of fun for us.
Leland Snowplay is perfor for that. My kids are 6 and almost 3 and we went this year and 2 years ago. It had more to do for them then at a couple of places at Tahoe last year. We visited Leland Snowplay today for my birthday. We had a wonderful time because the people were so great. My sister and I (both 50+) were the oldest tubers out there and just had a great time. The only negative is the price. For two hours with the tow, it was $25/each.
