OBS has terrible visibility for its tools, so here's a screenshot of a much better one: The graph on the right is what OBS is sorely missing! It's a plot of the input volume horizontally vs. the output volume vertically. As you can see, it's a normal boost at low volume, but then it flattens out at high volume.

For every device you have in Playback, set it to a fixed value, say 80%. Same goes true for every device you have in Recording, set it to a fixed value, say 80%. This is your audio baseline.The drop is advertised as a 3/4 drop but I saw about 2.5-3 in the rear. The front can be adjusted a lot just by adjusting the torsion bolt. I can go to about 1 inch below stock to over 5 inch drop in the front. The kit was easy to put on and I've had no troubles with it. Here is a pic of mine with the kit and OEM 20's.Usually a sign of severe system (CPU) overload, but your CPU is quite powerful, and if you say your CPU had only 4% usage, it's definitely not ...Then I can still use my mic in Zoom, Teams, etc...just not for recording in OBS.
