I really thought views were great (but yes slightly different) on both sides. What I will point out is we were 2nd in line and able to sit in the very front seat on the way up.

Aug 13, 2023 · Review of Pikes Peak Cog Railway. Reviewed August 13, 2023. This really has to be a must do if you are in the area. The train ride up to the summit is spectacular in terms of views and engineering. The whole operation has been updated and re-opened I think in 2021 with modern carriages and brand new track which makes for a comfortable ride.
