Most of the ETC faults are a result from the input of the PPS ( Gas Pedal). If you have been riding in water over the pedal, you may want to take it apart and clean it.

The small numbers at the bottom right are the FMI codes. The FMI on the 228 code gives a little more info to the problem, need that code. PRC Member #11880.

It's coming from my boost pressure sensor, according to the service manual. Additionally, it references a P0234 code for my occurance under the DTC column.

You need to pull the injectors and see if they are pulsing when you crank it over. If they are then you have ruled out everything except compression. Like.
