Aug 26, 2012 · Hey everyone, well my Ironwood Designs Saiga 12 furniture came in, and it looks great, but once I checked it out, I realized that I am going to need some special hardware to attach the upper and lower handguard pieces. I have been looking around on kvar, and Im seeing a bunch of hardware that loo... I'm trying to source the best furniture to make an SVD clone. Rhineland may have something that will be a direct fit and is checking for me. Ironwood has Vepr sets that I can apparently get to fit but that's not something I know if I have the skill for. The Romak-3 is every bit as good as the real Dragunov. Accuracy is just the same. A Saiga is NOT built to the same precision or standards. As far as I know, this furniture would fit the Saiga-100 in 308 just as easily. The wood used is sassafrass and isn't sanded very much. The purpose of this set was to verify the dimensions of my pattern.
