That being said there are fixed costs in selling such as postage and shipping materials. Selling a $30.00 svbony eyepiece with a shipping cost of $5.00 puts you in a hole right off the bat. I can no longer remember if ebay has a sliding scale for fees. Meaning the fee rate is greater for selling $25.00 than $125.00.
