The 8N Ford tractor had somewhere around 23 HP. Early Ford flathead V-8's had around 85 HP and the later model engines increased to about 100 HP. I wonder how many tractors drivetrain broke due to the extra HP. The Funk brothers sold many Ford N tractors converted to 6 cylinder or 8 cylinder.
