Gmc acadia ac blowing hot air.
Its a 2011 Acadia SLT. I have to turn the rear vents towards the front to feel air blowing although you can feel the front air about 6 inches from the vent. Could be a failing fan motor or failing switch. Could also be debris in the fan housing mucking up the works. And let's not rule out a failing actuator.

The rear temp door/actuator operates properly. At 90 degrees outside, a thermometer in the front middle left air vent air blows at 51.6 degrees (within gm spec). The rear left air vent blows at 77.7 (out of gm spec).I have a 2010 GMC Acadia with 160,000 miles. Owned since new. No prior A/C work has been done. Blowing only hot air, the compressor clutch would not engage. Purchased a can of DIY R-134a. Connected the hose that came with it to the low side of the system. The gauge read “low”.

The other day it stopped blowing cold air (still cool just not cold) then hissing sound from the dash started happening shortly later. I turned off the A/C and scheduled an appointment at the dealership.
