Really there are 3 main things that cause issues with the sliding doors in this gen (and really other gens as well): the center roller, the rear latch, or the power release actuator. 90% of the time the problem is one or more of those things. Pulling fuse 7 will reset the door and make it work for a while, but sooner than later, the dash light is back and door does not open. This problem is caused by the rear latch on the sliding door.
