I had the luck to find the box 3 times so far, but not yet a ghost meg.. I like rare stuff, it gives you the "hunting"-spirit :) On the other hand, i love to get all the time-limited cosmetics. And in a unattended moment, i spend my left over doubloons on merchant rep (hate merchant voyages).

It seems to randomly replace any other Meg when it spawns. Very low chance, possibly 1 in 10,000. The one I found was in the Devils Roar far away from fog. I was on an Athena quest at the time.
