97 Johnson 150 Ocean Pro fuel pump replacement? I think I have a bad fuel pump now, when it rains it pours. I got a quote from a mech for 5-600$ to replace the pump. The VRO has been disengaged a while back so I mix my own oil now, I found a replacement part for a fuel pump without the oil pump for about 250$.I have 2 ocean pro 150's.....one is my parts motor a 1998 and the other is the good motor a 1999. Their compression was significantly lower. Those heads ran compression around 90+.
