Kineticist is brought up for this reason : the class can carry you through unfair even without any mythic ability, but it has a really, really poor synergy with Aeon abilities. Let's try something else : thrice-dragon-bloodlined-fire-sorcerer. I'm guessing such a build would also work decently on unfair, but those higher difficulty levels are really punishing of non-perfect builds.
