Back the car you want to tow with up close to the car you want to tow. Get out and go to where the cars meet. Hold V to open up the radial menu and select the option to attach the vehicles (on the left) Release the menu and the vehicles will be attached. Drive the first car as normal and you can now tow vehicles around.
There is a beautiful golf course to the west of Muldraugh as well. If you have Lake Ivy Township installed there will be a tourist town and some nice secluded houses around water as well. Get as many as possible to follow me into the curtained house. Run through a couple doors, then dash out the opposite side of the house. Zombies will follow me inside and start smashing the interior doors to get around. That noise attracts more of the horde inside.

Half of those aren't starting locations. And Rosewood is missing. Best location for veteran players is Muldraugh because it's the easiest to get a vehicle working at. The whole south is full of parking lots, plus the crossroads towards Rosewood and the Warehouses out of town. With a working vehicle you're free to go anywhere you want in the map.

Rosewood : The easiest start town. + Small size means easier navigation and fewer zombies to deal with. + A good variety of shops and infrastructure buildings, providing a plausible mix of items necessary for a stable uptake with a variety of characters.

If you don't mind that slight break in immersion, we'd recommend using the Project Zomboid map project. It contains every building and POI in Project Zomboid.
