The (N) is a merge nightmare, and has to split its throughout with the (W). The 4 is my favorite subway line, but I disagree with the 2, A, F, and N being in Great because they haven't been running too well in my experience. The N runs great. The F is slow, but it runs to useful places. The A is great when it shows up.If the Lower Montauk branch were to be reactivated, this is one of the few projects that I would personally recommend light rail service be used for. While LIRR would miss out on the use of those tracks, high-level platforms would need to be constructed for the current LIRR rolling stock (only Richmond Hill has that).

This 7 Ave Express is INSANELY fast. Between 96 St and Times Square-42 St, it usually goes 45-60mph, passing 59 St-Columbus Circle at up to 64mph. 34 to Chambers isn't slow either, 45-53mph. 2. 3 train.
