Poseidon in attack is fun. The sweep passes through walls. Zeus ok special or Ares. Athena on attack is nice during stages with projectile foes but has diminishing use as you progress through bosses. Achilles spear is my favorite. If you like the sweep attack Hades spear will be fun. Hidden aspect is tough to get used to. I always find that runs where I get the hammer upgrades that boost the spin attack work best. Especially the quick charge on the Hades aspect, or Guan yu. You can build this with many different God boons, but big +% damage buffs on attack really shine. And of course any general strategy that works for every weapon will work for the spear. Spear is my least favorite weapon in the game. There isn't a single aspect I like, though I'm starting to (slowly) come around on Achilles. Achilles is the best aspect pretty easily, and it's often recommended that you go a pseudo-cast build with it. Pick up Zeus cast, use the special for the damage boost, then spam your cast.We pick up Exploding Launcher with Poseidon Spear and make a huge splash!
