Thanks to all the wonderful posts, I think I’ve got our itinerary complete and am ready to start making bookings for a 19 day trip. It kills me to not visit Plitvice Lakes but because of my irrational fear of snakes, I think I’d be on edge the whole time. I realize I may encounter one anywhere but probably more so there.Larger places take cards but small cafes and bars are cash only. There are plenty of cash points around (watch out for the ones that charge high fees). If you have a card like revolut the app has a cash machine finder.
