Without SMAPI being installed the game runs perfectly smooth in both desktop and gaming modes. However, as soon as I install SMAPI and before installing any mods, I get weird freezes of 2-5 seconds every 30-60 seconds or so - but only in gaming mode. So it would look like, at the end, something like Stardew Valley/Stardew Valley.dll For some reason, mine didn't use a slash at the end.
