This game has peaked my vague curiosity about 5th edition to full blown obsession but the rules are still pretty new to me. The root of my problem can be broken down to three overall issues. Probably better to switch to a dex bard if you want to play with sharpshooter. Yes dex bard until you get the gloves that set your dex at 20. Then you can dump dex and pump cha. You definitely need good dex to make it work (18 dex is probably a minimum, with gear that can boost your attack rolls). This makes all 1-handed and all melee based dual-wield builds pale in comparrison, even with sneak attack. Warlocks get imo the best cantrip with EB and a lot of ways to boost it.
