Dan Wesson I have owned and shot Dan Wesson revolvers since the 1980's. I have been a steel ram shooter in the past, and now collect Dan Wesson revolvers. They are very accurate when running well. They take a bit of work. But to be able to shoot a 4" group @ 100yds. with a iron sighted .44 mag is great!Comparatively, the same ammunition produced 1,283 fps in the 6-inch Ruger, or 7 percent less velocity. (In case you're wondering, the same load ran 1,120 fps out of a 3-inch revolver.) Taurus Model 608.
