There is no way to 'correctly' bypass the governor with linkages. You MUST open up the motor and remove the inner governor. It is VERY easy to do. The reason you must is there is a PLASTIC gear inside that controls the governor. Yes you will get valve float with stock springs that will limit rpm but you will still be getting higher rpms on the gear then it was built for. Better safe then sorry. A zip tie around the governor spring is an easy way to see what more rpms will feel like.
